john, yoko, and phil...
Oh Thilo
What a wonderful little reminder of this hymn of a song!
I didn’t know that Yoko Ono was to be attributed for this song, although I think she influenced most of John’s Lennon’s life and compositions as soloist. But to confess I have never appreciated Yoko Ono too much, I find her personality and art sort of shocking and some part of me really do NOT like her, not sure, but something about that woman, feels like a little snake that I wouldn’t trust. I guess some part of me believe the tales that she was the cause of the dissolution of the Beatles, dunno, but I don’t like that woman at all, not sure what adorable John saw in her, she might be talented but I feel she way too egocentric, mostly a show-off of a woman than a really caring artist
I love the beautiful and simple lyrics of the song, yet it is sad to think that the 3 people involved in the making of this song have been so afar from finding a Perfect World: John dead to violence, Yoko now seems to me just like a lunatic empty woman trying to exploit the name of her dead ex-husband and Phil Spector, one of the greatest producers of all times! and of this song is in trial for murder!!, how ironic is that
Yes sadly all they are very far, from an united world
To finish my annoying long comment, I leave you a phrase that I think matches the song:
“It is our earth, not yours or mine or his. We are meant to live on it, helping each other, not destroying each other.” J. Krishnamurti
you must forgive me I don't know how to express myself in less words...

Bere, i think, no one knows anything about their feelings and relationship...
It's the magic, which defines love i think. :)

oh Thilo, what a wise and lovely reply...
yes! i think magic, which is unexplainable, is the only *logic* explanation for love... :)
I agree very much with you this time!
